I commuted home a different route tonight. I heard from my friend who waters the flowers hanging from the lamposts that all the suits work on 7th, so I detoured to the ConocoPhillips building but hardly anyone was there. Perhaps a long Labor Day weekend pulls them away early. In contrast, the Pedestrian Friendly E Street Celebration was full of people. But they seemed to expect an extra tall lady in the middle of the free food, live music, and inclined curbs.
